Scope of Work

The agreed invoice amount covers only the work detailed in the quote.

 

Any additional work outside the original scope will incur extra charges, agreed upon before proceeding.

Quotes and Agreements

Acceptance of the quote constitutes a legally binding agreement to the payment terms and conditions.

 

Written acceptance via email, text message, or signed agreement is considered valid consent to these terms.

Payments & Deposits

A deposit of up to 50% may be required before starting the job.

 

The remaining balance is due upon completion.

 

For ongoing projects, we may issue weekly invoices.

 

All payments must be made to the bank account listed on the invoice.

 

Payment is due within three days of invoice issuance unless otherwise agreed.

Late Fees & Overdue Payments

A fixed late penalty of $100 will apply for each week the payment remains overdue, starting from the invoice due date.

 

Additional charges may include the cost of recovering unpaid amounts, including legal and debt collection fees.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

All sales are final. No refunds will be provided once work has commenced.

Disputes & Liability

Defects & Repairs

Any defects found within 7 days of completion that are not caused by actions taken after the job’s completion will be remedied.

 

Disputes regarding the scope or quality of work must be raised within this period.

Liability Limitations

HW Painting is not liable for damage caused by pre-existing structural issues, improper maintenance, or external factors beyond our control.


We are not responsible for any delays caused by unforeseen circumstances, including weather conditions, material shortages, or client-related delays.


Our liability for any claims is limited to the cost of the service provided and does not cover indirect losses, such as loss of business or revenue.


Clients must notify HW Painting of any claims within 7 days of completion of the work.

Non-Payment Consequensces

If payment is not received within the agreed timeframe, HW Painting reserves the right to:

 

Cease work until the outstanding amount is paid.

 

Engage a debt collection agency.

 

Pursue legal action to recover unpaid amounts, including claiming additional legal and recovery costs.

Force Majeure

HW Painting shall not be held liable for any delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes but is not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, acts of war, strikes, supplier failures, government actions, or other unforeseen events.


If a Force Majeure event occurs, HW Painting will notify clients as soon as possible and work towards a reasonable solution.

Client Responsibilities

Site Preparation

The client must inform HW Painting of any pre-existing conditions that may affect the quality or safety of the work.

 

If additional site preparation is required beyond what was agreed, HW Painting may charge extra fees to cover the additional work.

Access to Property

The client is responsible for ensuring that the work area is accessible and free from obstructions before work begins.

Privacy Policy

Information Collection

HW Painting values client privacy and ensures that any personal data collected is stored securely and not shared with third parties.

Data Protection

Client information is used solely for processing transactions, providing services, and improving customer experience.
